This past June, Touratech-USA hosted its fourth annual rally near the sleepy town of Plain, Washington. Like the three years prior, the 2013 Touratech Rally provided participants with an opportunity to ride a variety of roads and trails throughout Washington's beautiful backcountry, as well as learn more about adventure motorcycling.

Tioma and Aliona are aspiring filmmakers and adventure motorcyclists who have been travelling the world aboard their BMW R1200GS for the last few months. Having ridden from New York to San Francisco and then to Washington for the 2013 Touratech Rally, Tioma and Aliona are currently planning how they can continue their journey into South America.

There's no doubt that BMW's new water-cooled R1200GS is a capable adventure touring motorcycle. With 125hp, spoke wheels, dynamic suspension, cruise control and an assortment of other options, the new GS is everything we expected it to be, and then some. But there's always some room for improvement.
