PSS Off Road BDR Camp is a multi-day training event run by expert and professional adventure riders utilizing the Backcountry Discovery Routes assembled by Touratech.
The BDR Camp program is the newest addition to PSS Off Road and is a bridge between our ADV Camps and going out on your own. These training events are designed for entry level and moderately experienced adventure riders on appropriately equipped adventure and dualsport motorcycles.
Currently we are offering BDR Camps only on the Washington route, but are diligently working with Touratech to bring this training program to the BDR routes for Utah, Colorado, and Arizona.
Some of the riding skills presented are:
Core body position
Core weight shift
Slow speed balance and maneuvering
Lifting (single person, multi person)
Small to medium size obstacles (up to 9" in height)
Narrow track and rut
Loose surfaces (deep and and river rock)
Hills (ascending, descending, starting, stopping)
People travel from all over North America and internationally to attend our training events. This is a true testament to the value of the skills and knowledge and we have to offer. We cannot guarantee that you'll be an expert rider after the BDR Camp, but we can say for certain that you will learn new skills and have a great experience!
The BDR Camp includes camping accommodations and most meals. Check out the itinerary for a rundown of BDR Camp.
