I like how this piece in built. It wraps around the oil cooler guard for a very secure fit and maximum protection. It required me to remove the front fender to install it, but I feel it is worth the effort to have my oil cooler fully protected.

I really wish this part was easier to install. It's not that taking off the plastic is hard but it just takes time. Once you have this part mounted it's perfect and won't ever come off. I have noticed that the bike runs a little bit hotter when pushing it hard offroad but it has never overheated and always cools right off when I get some speed going again. This part is a must if you ride behind "fast guys"

simple but effective to prevent end of riding day due to rock puncture on oil cooler. Flap design still allows good airflow; have not noticed elevated engine temps.

I give this five stars because there isn't a "don't know yet" rating, but I did notice this cooler on the Long Way Down bikes which is good enough for me. The instructions, like other Touratech instructions I've seen, are inadequate. Bad photography and poorly written, I'm just glad that installation is relatively easy. I found removing the beak was an exercising in coaxing, but it went back on very easily.
