This engine guard extension fits the centerstand on the model year 2006 & newer R1200GS and R1200GS Adventure.
The engine guard extension give optimum protection against stones protruding from the ground or bumps when riding off road. The bottom surface has no holes or other protrusions to allow sliding in case the bike becomes high-centered (it is easier to push off). The engine guard extension is fixed to the centre stand using 3 clamps. Rubber lined clamps prevent noise. For 2004-2005 R1200GS please order 044-0280.
