This conversion kit turns the Touratech clear headlight guard on your BMW R1200GS or Adventure (044-0328) into a quick-release detachable version for easy cleaning, or simply to remove when unwanted.
If you don't already have the 044-0328 clear headlight guard installed, you will want the complete clear headlight guard kit: Part number 044-5090

I am SO GLAD that this part is available seperatly, thank you Touratech! I can use this to convert my old headlight guard into the quick release version to make it easier to clean the light. It sounds silly but it will make my life much easier on the road.
