The LC stands for Low Cost but not low quality. This bag is a simpler version of part number 055-1124. It attaches to the R1200GS but it doesn't have the side bungees or the straps to convert it to a back pack, and it is not expandable. It is made with the same quality materials and workmanship.
This bag does not fit well with the BMW mounting bracket for the BMW-branded Navigator GPS system (made by Garmin) that mounts between the handlebars of the R1200GS. It fits well with our Touratech GPS mount adapters 040-0664 and 040-0665.

I bought this bag last September. It's very practical and roomy, and I love the oversized map sleeve. It's a bargain at its price.
