Rally-style hand protectors for the R1150GS feature Acerbis rigid plastic guards and a special Touratech mounting kit that includes machined, aluminum adapters to attach to the bars to insure proper clearance around the levers, the clutch and brake reservoirs and the special BMW bar-ends on bikes with heated grips. Extremely strong, injection-molded, plastic polymer guards protect your hands, and in addition prevent breaking your brake and clutch levers.
Identical to the guards used by the Touratech and KTM Dakar teams.
For maximum weather protection use with the small spoilers or the larger ones that attach to the guards.
