The attributes of the NAMMATJ GT are the light weight, large area, and best stability. The additional struts creates a large lobby for equipment and gives a possibility to cook during bad weather.
20 pegs, and instructions.
Outside tent RipStop-nylon-!(KERLON 1800) with both-sided silicon coating.
Interior tent RipStop-nylon-! ground nylon with PU-coating.
These materials are MUCH stonger than common ripstop nylon! It's built to survive a long journey, it's not lightweight hiking equipment. For 4-seasons motorcycle camping this is the tent of choice. HILLEBERG has solely been building tents since 1971!

I own a lot of tents and I've got to say that first and foremost you can't go wrong with a Hilleberg tent. I own these: Keron 4 GT, Nammatj 3 GT, Nallo 3 GT and the Kaitum 2 GT. I think they have the most usable room for the weight of any other tent. The vestibules of the GT versions are huge - in a downpour or snowstorm you and your buddy can get into the vestibule, zip it shut and get out of your wet stuff - before getting into the tent. I love that - keep the bedroom clean and dry The vestibule is like a mud room - or a kitchen (and a time or two I've had to use it as the bathroom). It's not recommended of course, but many times in foul weather I've used my MSR XGK in the vestibule. I've been in severe storms in my Hillebergs - no worries - they're bomb proof! I buy an extra set of poles for mine - the sleeves are wide enough to accommodate - and double poling really increases storm-proofness. Last month I was at 7,000 feet on a ridge above Hell's Canyon in a storm so fierce I woke up thinking a train was crashing down on me - I realized it was only the wind and rain and rolled over and went back to sleep. In gentle summer weather I don't double pole and only stake it out with 4 stakes. For motorcycling - my favorite tent is the Kaitum 2 GT - a two person tent is great for just me - if I'm lucky enough to have my friend with me, then I bring one of my 3 person versions. If you're staying close to home or only venture out when you're certain of the weather forecast, then any tent will do - but I like to go no matter what and I love knowing that with a Hilleberg, I'm prepared for anything!
