The Adjustable Folding Tip Shifter provides more options for comfort and different sized boot. The spring-loaded, machined aluminum folding tip will reduce damage during off-road riding when the bike may occasionally be tipped over or strike rocks and other foreign objects. The ability to fold protects the lever, shaft, and transmission from damage in light crashes. Constructed of steel and painted black with a heavy duty automotive lacquer. If it does get bent in a fall it can be easily straightened several times without compromising integrity.
If the adjustable footpegs 044-0570 are used then it may be required to move the shifter tip forward as well.
