I bought this upper crash bar with the lower crash bar for my F800GS. The installation was straight forward and the kit included all of the hardware needed to bolt right on. The quality of the welds and the finish are very good. I have dropped the bike several times while riding off road and the bars have protected the body work perfectly. The upper crash bars are compact and routed close to the bike which I like for off-road riding. The bars are doing the the job I expected them to do and look great on the bike.

I got them with the lower part as well. Just installed them. And surprisingly, the space between the right side of the fairing and the extension bar (when I am on the bike) is a lot more than the space between the fairing on the left side and the bar. The bars might do the job if the bike is dropped (by torsion on the bolts) but it doesn't look as well as I expected on the right side

Bought both sets of crash bars. The lower ones fit nice, the upper ones both broke the bolts off in end. The right side is a inch too short and the left broke off before I could get on. Never even crashed yet and they r broken. Maybe they should give stronger bolts and make the roght side the se as the left. Hopefully they warranty them. And fix the problem
