The BMW stands much more firmly even on quite a soft surface with Touratech's larger side stand foot. Even if you park the bike in a meadow you do not always have to look for a small plank of wood or another base.

A simple but effective way to help eliminate the common frustration of having the motorcycle kick-stand sink into the soil when the ground is soft, wet or sandy. This part really does work well and do what it is intended to do. The only issue that I have had with this part was that the first one I purchased fell off and i lost it. It could have been that I did not tighten the locking nuts properly or check them for tightness after the first 50 miles or so. in any case, the second unit has been on the bike ever since with no problem.
