The wiring and bullet connectors (visible in the photo) are discarded, and the original BMW wires are inserted into the new turnsignal.Miniblinkers all look the same, just left or right, with either 10mm or 12mm stalk thread size. Install with drain hole downward.

I installed the left and right turn signals on my '01 R1150GS to replace the OEM units that were rubbing against the inside of my side luggage. The turn signals come with no instructions, so be sure to replace the small pre-installed bulbs with the ones provided in the separate package, else the turn signal flash rate will not be correct. Also be careful tightening the mounting nut. Too much torque will pull the bolt out of the rubber stalk. I rated it 4 out of 5 due to lack of instructions about the bulb and caution about torquing the mounting nut.
