Touratech GPS Bracket Adapter bar R1200GS (Not for Adventure)
The Touratech GPS Bracket Adapter allows you to position a GPS unit above the instruments on the R1200GS. It is a stainless steel bar,12mm or 1/2 inch diameter.
It attaches into the front fairing support of the R1200GS and can be adjusted.
NOTE: cannot be used with Cockpit Cover 2 (044-0560). Compatible with cockpit cover 044-577X. Does not fit R1200GS Adventure model (see 044-0770).
NOTE: does not include GPS mount. This adapter just provides a place for attaching Touratech mounts.

This is really only suitable for older GPS units that the Touratech mounts hold from the bottom rather than from the backside. The newer GPS units will block the guages when mounted on the back side. The one really nice thing I can say about this part is that it saved my guage cluster from total annialation in a 1200 roll over at Rawhyde...
