This spring kit from Hyperpro is a quick and inexpensive way to drastically change your BMW R1100GS's handling performance, or to revive a worn out set of springs. The progressively wound springs for the front and rear shocks give you a plush ride at slow speeds, but when the road gets rough, or you decide to push hard in the corners, the springs are much firmer towards the bottom of the travel where you need it the most.
Many years of touring and off-road riding on your GS can take its toll on the stock spring's performance. You might notice your bike sagging a bit under normal load, or not being as responsive as you like. A new set of springs can revive your 1100GS's handling, making it feel like a new motorcycle without having to spend money on complete new shocks.
