The R1100GS stands much more firmly even on a soft surface with this kick stand support extension. If you park the motor bike in a meadow or other soft surface such as sand or hot asphalt, you don't have to look for a small stick or rock.There more than one different sidestands that were used by BMW for the R1100. This extension fits the 5sided (pentagon) foot.

Simple install. Makes life much easier when parking the bike on soft ground, grass or hot asphalt. I do notice that my boot heel contacts it while standing occassionally but I have big feet.
