The breathable seat offers tremendous advantages over the standard one, especially in hot or humid climates.
Breathable fabric allows air to circulate inside the seat, to reduce perspiration in the seat area. Riding comfort is improved considerably and your clothes will no longer cling to your 'parts' or develop uncomfortable creases. Difficult to explain these benefits in a polite manner but most riders know the problem. The innovative padding has a special recess which significantly increases the seating comfort, and the hard-wearing outer material with a GoreTex liner copes easily with even the toughest conditions.

I have about 8,000 miles on this seat and I love it. The stock seat was killing me on rides of 2 hours or more so I made the upgrade. I haven't regretted it one bit. You can see a bit of wear on the seems now but all the stitching is perfectly in tact. It was more than I wanted to pay for a seat, but it has proven to be worth it.

The Touratech breathable seat is simply the best thing I've done to my F800GS. I enjoy riding the bike all day long now. My backside doesn't protest after 2 hours anymore.
