The side stand switch on the Triumph Tiger Explorer is mounted in a quite vulnerable position, making it easy to damage in a crash or when riding over large rocks or logs. This guard from Touratech is precision made out of strong stainless steel and reinforces and protects the switch in case of an impact.

NOTE: There are two differnt sidestand switches used on the Tiger 1200 and this part will only fit if your switch measures 28mm as shown in the photo.

2 stars as Triumph reinforced the sensor since Touratech did its measurements. The guard needs to be notched at the rear middle or it will have to be bent to fit around the newly strengthened sensor. I spoke with Touratech USA and they stated that it will probably not be updated on their end so time to break out the Dremel!
