Water Cooled BMW R1200GS Final Drive Vent Relocation Kit-
Water crossings can be the most exciting part of an off-road adventure on your R1200GS. Unfortunately with the liquid cooled R1200GS, the final drive can sustain some damage from being submerged. With the Touratech vent relocation kit, you will no longer have to worry about the drive line on your GS water-boxer when crossing streams or deep puddles.
The final drive housing on the water cooled R1200GS has a small valve that ensures the necessary venting and pressure exchange for your drive line. If this breather is submerged, it can suck water into the final drive, causing damage if not dealt with immediately. This relocation kit is a simple fix for this common problem. Included is a special line with machined aluminum fittings that relocates the final drive vent to a safer (higher) location on the BMW GS.
