Good add-on to the original kick stand but did not fit as advertised. Had to cut a 1" by 1/2" section of the top plate to allow it to fit behind the leg. Dont know if the Sertao (what I have) and stock G650GS use the same kick stand. After I trimed it though, it fit perfectly. Very solid.

I will agree with the review by Brian_L, the upper plate did not fit around the leg. I had to grind quite a bit of it before it would be able to get in position. It's good now. I don't know if it's made wrong, or maybe the quality control at BMW is lacking. It is possible that the "foot" is welded to the stand at random locations. This way the plate fits some bikes and does not fit others. Not sure which one it is...
