The oil cooler on the R1200RT is made of aluminum, and the tiny radiator fins can be bent by objects or even by curious fingers. Our oil cooler protection is effective not only against roadway stones, but also against the countless small insects which otherwise become embedded in the oil cooler. Anodized aluminium screen is lightweight and looks like it belongs on the RT.
Note: Installation is simple, but requires removal of front fairing.
