The Touratech dual taillamp assembly for the R1100GS and 1999-2003 R1150GS (including Adventure) has a simple, clean and functional design which improves the aesthetic looks of the back of the bike and offers a substantial increase in rear lighting over the original taillight. The dual lamps each house an extremely bright tail and brake bulb that is mounted in a computer-designed parabolic reflector, which makes your bike much more visible to other drivers up close, from a distance and off to the sides. The lamps feature additional built-in redundancy for further safety: if one lamp burns there is a second lamp to provide a safe ride home. These lamps are very bright in daylight and in restricted visibility conditions such as fog and rain.
Included are the dual taillamps, a license plate light and a license plate bracket. Lights plug directly into the OEM wiring for the original taillight (easy installation).
NOTE: If your R1150GS is 2004 or newer with Servo Assisted brakes, the electrical system may not allow a dual taillight.
