I purchased these brake lines to replace the aging rubber lines on my 1150GS. My handlebar is the stock height, but I do have the longer ADV shocks installed. While installing, I determined that, should it be required, its possible to remove the ABS modulator from the hydraulic circuit and connect the lines directly together (if you unbolt the fitting at the headstock). This is important if you get into trouble with a failing ABS unit and still want brakes. My only real complaint is the lack of some sort of protective finish on the lower lengths of line. The upper length is covered by a clear plastic hose, the lowers are bare steel. Its all stainless and Aluminum, so it won't rust, but I'm just a bit concerned with the potential for rubbing on something. Overall, a great purchase I'll make again when I replace my GS.
