GPS mount adapter for the 2003 - 2006 BMW K1200GT. This bolt-on adapter creates a 1/2 inch diameter section of bar above the triple clamp to allow attachment of a Touratech GPS mount. The GPS mounts made by Touratech come with 1/2 inch brackets on the bottom. To attach a GPS to a K12/13GT; buy this adapter, the correct Touratech mount for your GPS, a power cable and you will have everything you need.
Please note the fit may be sub-optimal on some GPS mounts that have the bottom brackets spaced far apart. A solution to this is to redrill the holes in the bottom of the GPS mount and place the brackets closer together. A picture of a sub-optimal fitment is shown above.
