Welded Steel mesh provides the best protection from stones and crashes! Additionally the grille does not collect dust on all three surfaces as clear plexi-type guards which can reduce the light output quickly in off pavement riding conditions.
NOTE: This grille fits on the outside of the original blinker, using the blinker mounting screw. The mounting of our blinkers 044-0393 is a little wider than the original. Consequently the grille mounting must be widened slightly by hand pressure and longer screws obtained to fit with these 044-0393. Current version with slightly longer arms allows easier cleaning of the headlight!
