I have put 12,000 miles on my F800GS with this guard. At least half of these miles have been on dirt and gravel roads. My headlight has never had a problem. Thumbs up on this guard.

I have used this headlight guard for nearly 3 years now and it has protected my headlight without fail. Much of my riding has been off-road in the mountains with other bikes kicking up gravel and rocks. Installation was easy.
