Got the racks today, quality looks good and mounting was very simple. I followed the diagram and loosely installed the whole rack system finger tight. Then I snugged up the bolts where the foot pegs mount, followed by the two black crossbars and finished with the rear silver crossbar. Everything really snugged up nicely as I tightened all the bolts. It is a VERY solid mounting system for the bags I have on order. I think the best part is it looks like I could install/remove them in less than 20 mins. So, I'll likely take them off when I'm not planning on needing the side bags to keep the clean look of the MTS 1200 and mount them when I plan on doing some touring!
