The ZUMO 660 & 665 locking mount V2.0 from Touratech is an easy and convenient way to secure the GPS unit to your motorcycle. The spring actuated opening mechanism makes it quick and easy to lock the unit into place and just as easy to retrieve it.
This mount secures the ZUMO GPS unit with a positive closing structure that locks with a key. The mount further protects the valuable GPS with a vibration absorbing mounting system.
The ZUMO GPS device and the Garmin plastic cradle shown in the photos are original Garmin parts, and are not supplied with the Touratech V2.0 locking mount. They do however come with the Garmin Zumo GPS.
Touratech locking GPS mounts have been used by motorcycle travelers the world over. They are built to withstand the rigors of off-road riding or a trip around the world.
This is the Silver-anodized model. A Black-anodized version is available. (Part # 065-0524)
Just got mine yesterday, good sturdy design!

Generally Iâm a fan of simplicity in design, and then you press a button and watch your GPS mount elegantly release and that falls by the wayside. There must be a hundred little moving parts in this mount, all waiting to fall prey to being gummed up by dust, and yet after 20,000 kms they havenât. Nor, despite being parked in some fairly dubious places, has my Zumo 660 gone missing while locked in place. That is either a testament to the lock, or the âhow the hell do I get this outâ look of the mount, one way or another itâs a deterrent. So far the mount has survived a good turn though the Baja, a lot of dirt road and tons of twists, so counts as living proof that itâs up to real world use.

Just installed this mount. Very pleased with it. However, it is a more of a deterrent than a security device. Anyone with a 4mm hex key, multi tool, pliers or other improvised tool could have your GPS in under a minute. That being said, I'm much more relaxed having it protect my GPS.
