You'll get through those long highway stretches a lot easier with a Kaoko throttle lock for your Suzuki V-Strom DL650. This mechanical "cruise control" allows you to lock your throttle in place, easing the strain on your right hand on long trips.
The Kaoko throttle lock installs easily, taking the place of the factory bar end weight on the V-Strom. To operate the lock, you simply turn the large knurled knob to engage when you reach your desired speed and throttle position.
This product is compatible with DL650 V-Strom without factory Suzuki hand guards installed. If you have OEM hand guards, order part # 330-0023.
