Lighter and narrower aluminium alternative to the original exhaust. Excellent sound for those who appreciate the powerful V twin sound. Manufactured to the same standard of quality you have come to expect from Sebring.
No catalytic converter (off-road use only).
Stock KTM silencers weigh 21.5lbs, these aluminum silencers weigh 14lbs, a savings of more than 7lbs at the back of the bike.
Installation is simple; unbolt the stock pipes (beware of the soft metal OEM screws fastening the headers to the silencers) and bolt-on these nice new cans with the supplied stainless hardware. You will have to remove the crush washers that make up the seal between the header and the silencer or else the silencer will rattle. A screw driver works well for dislodging it. Use high temp silicone when re-installing the crush washers on the new silencers then fire up the bike and enjoy your nice new sound.
