The GPSMAP 60CSx is an upgrade to the 60CS that includes a removable microSD memory card. The 64M card can hold detailed map data and the card is mounted inside the waterproof battery compartment, so it will survive your wettest adventures.
The other significant upgrade in the 60CSx is the new SiRF processing chip. This new chip is much faster and more sensitive than ever before. If you find yourself in deep canyons or under high forest or jungle canopies, you'll notice the difference right away.
The new 60CSx has a color screen, auto-routing capability and a fast USB data connection for moving data between the GPS and your PC. The digital compass and barometric altimeter provide even more accurate data for your exploring.
