The Glovebox Numberplate Bag fits tightly on most enduro motorcycles, including KDX, KTM, RMX and KLR with no modifications required. It installs & removes in seconds with no tools. The GNB holds your gear tightly in place by having the bungee straps cross over the top of the bag. Solid, secure and out of the way.
The GB-1 uses fenderbag hooks for a rock-solid six-point attachment. Two steel hooks grab the top edge of the numberplate. Two more cinch the bottom. Two hooks on stretch-cord attach to the left and right, compressing the contents to complete the six-point attachment.
10" X 5" X 2.5" are the rectangular dimensions of the fabric bag, but if a sweater was stuffed in there it would round out and be larger.
The Top Flap of the bag is made of 100% waterproof truck-tarp (a reinforced vinyl). The bag itself is a vinyl-lined polyester fabric. The material itself is waterproof, but the seams and zipper are not sealed. The top flap of the bag is "doubled" (with a pocket opening inside). This flat pocket is very well protected from weather, it can hold a map. Or another use is to slide in a sheet of aluminum, or formica, or ? for "armorplating" to protect electronics or other precious cargo.
