This is the RAM cradle for the Garmin GPSMAP 72, 76 and 76S. The GPS snaps securely into the cradle and stays there until you release it. This cradle is designed to attach to a RAM Diamond Base, part number GRAD, which has the ball required for use in a RAM mounting system.
You may need this part if you are building a custom mounting system for your GPS 76, or if you have a RAM mounting system for another GPS and need to mount a 72, 76 or 76S.
This cradle will NOT fit the new color-screen Garmin GPSMAP 76C & 76CS. They are not the same size. If you have a 76C or 76CS click here for a RAM cradle that will fit your GPS.
