Questions about this product?
The Mark 3 Pivot Pegz have taken it to a whole new level with a mega wide 60mm platform. Due to the pivoting nature of Pivot Pegz you can have the best of both worlds, a mega wide 60mm platform and easy access to the gear shift and rear brake lever, this is due to the fact that the Pivot Pegz platform pivots and opens up access to the lower controls.

Let us assure you that this isn't your average set of footpegs, not only do you get a mega wide platform but the state of the art grip pattern, platform design and spring loaded pivoting action means you get enhanced grip and load distribution as well as reduced impact and fatigue. The Mark 3 Pivot Pegz are also designed to reduce mud packing in the peg. As for the quality, it's world class.

By design, these are great pegs. They take a relatively short time to get used to, but after that they are very comfortable and responsive to changes in stance and shifting/braking. The wider Mk III platform is negligibly more comfortable than the Mk II's, however I found that due to the wider peg tilting so effectively to the plane of my boot, I sometimes had to lift my boot off the peg in order to shift my foot position backward or forward quickly--a minor irritation at times but not hard to overcome with practice. So why 4 stars? This product would be perfect but for two reasons: Flimsy Mount Spring and Non-responsive Customer Service. First issue: While the Mk III pegs are equipped with firm pivot springs and very solid build, they come with weak, thin gauge mount springs that can barely return your peg to flat if accidentally kicked up. This is not a major flaw, but it does reduce the overall perceived quality of the product for me. The older Mk II's came with a thicker, more robust mount spring--and I can only guess that cost cutting measures were the reason for the change. Second issue: I say that I have to "guess" because after two emails to Pivotpegz support (USA and Australia), no one has responded to my inquiries about getting a stronger spring. I have heard from others that this is a common issue with this company. Good news is that I can't imagine very many problems that one could run into that would require support. But, if I needed a replacement part for some reason, I would seriously doubt anyone at PivotPegz would be there to help me--I'd probably be stuck with buying a new set of pegs instead. So, all in all, a great product with a few minor issues to be aware of before purchasing.
