Honda GL-1500

Garmin 276C mounted on the left handelbar of a Goldwing. The lower item is the RAM part GRA1BJ which mounts to the clutch control mounting bolts. Then a RAM Normal Arm and RAM GRAB round mounting plate which is bolted to the back of the GPS Cradle.

The GPS Cradle comes with the Garmin 276C and 376C as part of the package.

Honda GL-1500

The GR3CR Cradle can be attached to the RAM GRAD in several ways which gives you lots of flexibility in mounting your GPS V series GPS.

BMW R1100RT

Tom Houston used doublestick adhesive instead of screws to hold the GRAD onto the "RCU shelf". The "RCU shelf" comes from BMW of Salt Lake City. Note that this mounting requires two of the RAM part GRAD. One attaches to the eMap GPS cradle and the other is attached to the RCU shelf.

BMW R1100RT

Garmin StreetPilot on a RAM mount, attached to our "grab11" and "gcR11b" on Scott Charney's BMW R1100RT. This mount can be used in any of the eight holes and can be rotated to many positions.

BMW K1100LT

Garmin III+ on a RAM mount, attached to the "grab11" on a BMW K1100LT.

The "GRAB11" is attached using a hole on the BMW controls (the hole is intended for a mirror).

The "grab11" mount is designed to fit under the locknut of a 10mm mirror stem but it fits many other locations too, wherever there's a bolt with enough threads. Or you can get a longer bolt. Works great on 8mm bolts. Here it is with a 1/4" bolt (this customer should to add a washer when he gets home).

On BMW controls (as in the photo) this mount fits very well, even better if you round the lower corner with a file. We can do this if you sweet-talk us.

BMW K1200LT

StreetPilot III on a TOURATECH mount "065-0039", attached to the adapter "040-0652" on a BMW K1200LT. All of the Touratech mounts will fit this adapter.

This customer is not afraid to cut into plastic, and he is also capable of doing a nice job!. (The plastic can be replaced if necessary.) Under the plastic there is a tubular steel handlebar that the "GRAH" (a part of GRSP3H) attaches to.

Honda GL-1800

StreetPilot III on a GL1800, using RAM's GRA1BJ attachment, the short arm GRASA, Diamond base GRAD and the TOURATECH locking mount 065-0056.

GRA1BJ + GRASA + GRAD + 065-0056

This part bolts onto the clutch perch clamp with longer screws and spacers. Stainless Screws included (and spacers).

Triumph ST

GPSV on a Triumph ST using the basic GR3H mount (which includes U-Bolt adapter GRAH).

Honda ST-1100

StreetPilotIII on a RAM mount on a Honda ST1100, using the "grsp3h" mount. This user cut a hole in the plastic cover. This plastic cover costs about $100 to replace.

The "grah" handlebar clamp (part of GRSP3H) is direct to the ST's handlebar and a cutout in the plastic part allows just the ball to protrude above.

Honda ST-1300

StreetPilotIII on a RAM/Touratech mount on a Honda ST1300. This customer is using the "065-0039" TOURATECH mount on RAM support parts GRAD, GRANA and GRAHEX. This user pried off the Honda badge and drilled a hole in the plastic cover.

The "grahex" handlebar ball is attached to the ST-1300's steering stem and protrudes through a hole in the silver plastic cover.

Yamakha FJR1300

StreetPilot 2610 on a Touratech mount adapted to a Yamaha FJR1300 with RAM parts. This customer is using the

"065-0066" locking TOURATECH mount on RAM support parts GRAD (diamond base), GRASA (short arm) and GRAB9. Item GCSEC (or GCSEC2) is recommended for use with Locking mounts.

The GRAB9 is bolted to the un-used "mirror hole" with GC10125 bolt. The GRAB9 has a "9mm" hole, so it needs to be drilled or filed a little larger for the 10mm bolt. GRAB11 fits too (11mm hole).

Harley

StreetPilot III on Jay's Harley using the Touratech mount and a RAM mount in combination. The Touratech Strreetpilot III mount is a heavy-duty off-road mount that's designed to fit on a 1/2" dirtbike crossbar. Jay's using the basic "grbh" mount to adapt the Touratech "065-0039" mount to his 1" handlebar.

The standard "grsph" mount is sufficient for most touring applications. You can see the "grah" handlebar clamp on the bar.

Typically we recommend this combination of mounts for using the big StreetPilot on an off-road motorcycle. Jay wanted the best because of the big twin's vibration. GRBH is now available in CHROME

BMW K1200GT

To mount a StreetPilot III, Joe used the "grsp3s" and put the suctioncup in his truck. Then for a base he used the "GRAB9" and a special bolt GCR11B, with just the spacer from "GCMXB".

Using special parts: "GRAB9" and "GCR11B" plus only the 10mm spacer from "GCMXB".

BMW R1150RT

The 040-0650 adapts several of the TOURATECH mounts to the R1150RT.

Accepts 065-0022, 065-0035, 065-0032, 065-0039, 065-0056, 065-0065. 065-0066. It is more suited for the sideways-screen Garmins such as GPS III/V and StreetPilot series and 2610. Because of the low profile, angle adjust is not very good with vertical-configuration GPSs such as GPS76. Pleaase note that 065-0067 and 065-0068 do not fit well with this mount.

BMW K1100RS

BMW K1200LT

Customer used RAM parts to mount fog lights to the fairing. Mounts are tightened just enough to allow adjustment while riding. Customer removed adjustment knobs and replaced with security screw GCSEC.

BMW K1200RS

Customer used RAM parts to mount a video camera. Needed 2X GCMXB to get 2x 10mm spacers.

BMW K1100LT

Fast Eddie used washers and a longer bolt to place a GRAB9 on his LT. Possible that GCR11B would work here similarly.

BMW K1200RT
